May 12, 2007 saw an all day event at the Walkersville Southern Railroad in Walkersville. The event included train rides, an open museum, food, and 2 on board birthday parties!
Dennis Masters and Steve Johnson spent the day on the Walkersville Southern and had a really good time. We also got to meet our newest MDOL recruit Justin Ralston who volunteers with Walkersville Southern. All in all a great day. Walkersville Southern can be contacted at www.wsrr.org.
May 19, 2007 found Dennis Masters and Steve Johnson at the Children's Village Center in Hagerstown for their Child Safety Day events. MDOL fit right in with the group and saw upwards of 400 people throughout the day.
Children's Village will be having this event every year and other events throughout the year. MDOL is welcomed and we are going to keep a strong presence there. They are a wonderful group with a great message and teachings for kids. Children's Village can be found at www.childrensvillage.us
